Code of Conduct
Someone’s House: Guest, Staff, and Event Conduct Standards
1. Scope and Intent

Venue Code of Conduct forms the core rulebook for all users, hosts, guests, suppliers, vendors, staff, and service providers within Someone’s House.

All who enter the venue, attend an event, deliver a product, provide a service, or conduct business on-site are bound by these rules.

House management enforces this code at all times. Acceptance of access, booking, or entry constitutes complete agreement with every clause.

2. Guest and Host Behavior

All guests and hosts must display respectful, courteous, and orderly behavior within the venue.

Physical, verbal, or written aggression, harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation remain forbidden.

Disruptive acts—yelling, slamming, obstructing, or provoking—disturb the event atmosphere and lead to intervention.

Regardless of age, status, or relationship to the booking party, every guest remains subject to this standard.

Abusive or aggressive behavior triggers immediate removal, potential ban, and complete reporting to event organizers and legal authorities if required.

3. Respect for Property and Surroundings

All users must care for venue property—furniture, fixtures, walls, equipment, lighting, decor, and art.

No writing, marking, sticking, or taping objects to surfaces is allowed unless staff grants express approval.

Removal, relocation, or misusing house assets—including artwork, furniture, electronics, and security systems—is prohibited.

Deliberate damage, graffiti, theft, or unauthorized modification of venue property incurs charges and replacement fees and may result in legal proceedings.

Management expects guests to leave surfaces, seats, and shared areas in their original condition.

4. Noise, Light, and Atmosphere

Events must respect the time, schedule, and permitted volume or light settings approved during booking.

Hosts must confine sound, music, and lighting to booked zones. No user may project noise or visual cues into common or external areas.

Laser shows, strobe lights, and high-volume sound require staff clearance and technical supervision.

Light and sound engineers may reset levels or pause the event if thresholds are exceeded or neighboring sessions are disrupted.

The atmosphere inside the house must respect every ongoing or future event.

5. Dress, Appearance, and Personal Conduct

Guests must maintain attire suitable for the event, cultural expectations, and public decency.

Shirts, shoes, and basic hygiene are required in all event spaces unless exempted explicitly by booking.

Costume events, theme parties, or fashion shows must ensure all attire remains appropriate and non-offensive to other users.

Inappropriate clothing or presentation triggers a warning, then removal if not addressed.

6. Substances, Alcohol, and Controlled Items

Licensed caterers or vendors may serve alcohol with staff approval.

All consumption must comply with venue rules, local law, and event guidelines.

Illegal substances, prohibited items, weapons, or unsafe materials may not enter, be stored, or consumed on the premises.

Management can inspect bags, containers, or deliveries upon entry, exit, or during the event.

Violations result in ejection, forfeiture of booking, and reporting to authorities.

7. Access, Entry, and Guest Lists

Entry gates are open only to approved names on the host’s guest list.

Access outside booked hours, unauthorized use of side entries, or bringing unregistered guests is forbidden.

Hosts must provide complete guest lists in advance and update staff regarding last-minute changes.

No guest may transfer entry rights, wristbands, or passes to another individual without staff sign-off.

8. Use of Facilities, Furniture, and Equipment

Guests may use assigned furniture, sound, light, projection, or kitchen equipment as outlined by booking or staff instruction.

Technical support is available only for hosts or users who request it in advance.

Unapproved use, misuse, or tampering with technical systems—sound desks, light grids, security cameras, power switches—will result in penalties and removal.

No outside furniture, decor, or equipment may be introduced without written approval and safety inspection.

9. Vendor, Staff, and Supplier Rules

External vendors, contractors, artists, and suppliers must comply with all site access, delivery, and safety rules.

Setups, breakdowns, and deliveries occur only during scheduled time slots.

All suppliers must wear visible identification while on site.

Noncompliance results in expulsion and cancellation of services.

10. Photography, Video, and Recording

Photography and video recording require explicit approval from hosts, guests, and management.

Unauthorized recording, especially in private or restricted areas, is strictly forbidden.

Official photographers or videographers must register equipment, wear visible credentials, and comply with venue privacy rules.

Management may ban, review, or request deletion of unauthorized footage.

11. Children and Vulnerable Guests

A responsible adult must always supervise children under the age defined by local law.

Booking parties takes responsibility for dependent guests, including safety, conduct, and supervision.

Management may require the removal of unsupervised children or guests whose actions disturb the peace.

12. Smoking, Fire, and Hazardous Items

Smoking, open flame, and hazardous items are prohibited anywhere on the premises unless staff designates a specific safe area.

Any fire hazard or suspected unsafe activity must be reported immediately to staff or security.

Violation leads to immediate removal and penalty fees.

13. Emergency Procedures and Compliance

All users must comply with emergency exit routes, alarm instructions, and staff directions during fire, medical, or safety incidents.

Blocking exits, tampering with fire extinguishers, alarms, or first aid kits will result in ejection and full liability for any consequences.

Hosts must ensure every guest receives a safety briefing at the event start.

14. Lost Property and Valuables

Guests are responsible for securing their property.

Lost, stolen, or misplaced items must be reported to management immediately.

The venue is not responsible for items left unattended, but staff will assist in locating lost property when possible.

15. Complaints, Disputes, and Resolution

Complaints or disputes regarding events, staff, or other users must be reported directly to management via official channels.

The venue will review every report, investigate as required, and respond promptly and fairly.

Retaliation or escalation outside official channels will not be tolerated.

16. Modification, Enforcement, and Waiver

The venue reserves the authority to modify, enforce, or waive specific rules for operational or safety needs.

Updates are posted at the venue and online.

Continued access constitutes acceptance of any revision.

17. Final Acknowledgment

Entry, booking, or use of Someone’s House signals full acceptance of this Code of Conduct.

Every guest, host, supplier, and staff member shares responsibility for upholding a safe, private, respectful, and orderly environment.
